Andre Lacroix of Chicago Black Hawks, a former star with Philadelphia Flyers, signed a multi-year contract with Philadelphia Blazers of the WHA.
New England Whalers, one of the most active WHA franchises. announced signing Tom Webster, who had 30 goals in 1970-71 with Detroit of the NHL and missed most of the last year after a trade to California Golden Seals when his back acted up. The Whalers also signed John Danby, a former all-Americ n forward at Boston University.
Philadelphia is reported about to sign former U.S. Olympic hockey coach Murray Williamson as general manager. He coached the U.S. to a silver medal in the Olympics last winter and could also be hired as Philadelphia's coach, reports indicated.
